The article states “Most wiki platforms have an option to rollback to a previous version. This is the fastest way to undo vandalism.” This wiki is coming under attack by spammers , and there seems to be no way to delete it .

Yeah, that's a bit unfortunate. The pattern doesn't include the scenario where spammers are creating new pages, so there is no rollback as there was no previous version.

What I'm doing so far is renaming the pages and editing them to remove the content. It is only a workaround though…

Surely there are only two ways to deal with this:

  1. If you see a spammed page, edit it, pasting back what was there before
  2. Tell the administrator (but how, on this site?) so that they can delete a) any other new pages, b) correct others and c) revoke the offending user's editing rights

It just needs vigilance - a pain, but the only way is to be a good gardner!
